Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Arrival at Delhi Airport. Our representative welcomes you at the airport and transfers you to the Hotel.
In the first half we visit the Ancient (OLD) parts of Delhi comprise the Red fort, Jama Masjid & Chandni Chowk. and than we approach towards Connaught place - the blooming heart of the City via Raj Ghat. The second half takes you through the Modern (NEW) parts of Delhi covering the India Gate, President House and Sansad Bhavan. The evening gives you the option of enjoying the Sound & light show at the red fort or at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi - Leh
Morning board flight for Leh - the land of Lamas, the Buddhist Monks and is mainly populated by Buddhists and Hindus. Leh houses numerous Buddhist monuments, monasteries and study centers, Shnati stupa and Sankar Gompa are some of them. Meeting & transfer to hotel. Rest of the day for relax. Night stay at the hotel.
Day 03 : Leh
After beakfast , we will proceed towards full day Sight Seeing
Sankar Gompa - This is small but more interesting place to visit than the Leh Gompa and can easily be visited on foot.
Chamba Temple - One place definitely worth walking through the putrid smelling puddles to visit - Phyang Monastery - A long roughish track off the main road leads to the pretty village of Phyang. Mani walls leads to the little visited gompa, which was built around the 15th century by King Tashi Namgyal and now houses about 45 monks who belong to the Kagyupa order.
Leh Palace - The old palace of the kings of Ladakh, it has eight storeys and was built by King Sengge Namgyal in the 16th century,

Day 04 : Leh
It is interesting to visit early in the morning to enjoy the praying ceremony at Thiksey monastery.
Thiksey Gompa of Ladakh is situated at a distance of approximately 18 km from the town of Leh. One of the most beautiful monasteries of Ladakh, it belongs to the Gelukpa Order of Buddhism. Sherab Zangpo of Stod got the Thikse Monastery built for the first time, at Stakmo . Thiksey Gompa serves as the residence of approximately eighty monks. It has been served, for quite a long time.
Continue drive to Hemis monastery the biggest and richest of them all is well known for its festival in summer.
On the way back visit to Shey Palace - Shey is a town in Ladakh that has the old summer Palace of the kings of Ladakh . The palace has the largest golden Buddha statue in Ladakh. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 : Leh - Uletokpo camp (65 kms)
Today you drive to Uletokpo. En route visit:
Bazgo Castle - which lie on the right bank of the Indus. The 400 year old gompa is up some winding, steep tracks. The prayer room in the SerZung Temple has great frescoes, another temple has an enormous gold and copper statue of the Maitreya Budhha and some elaborate roof and wall frescoes.
Check in at Uley Adventure Resort.
This afternoon visit Rizong monastery - about 6 kms along a steep, rocky track north of main road is the start of the area containing the nunnery of Julichen and the Gompa of Rizong.
Also visit The Chulichan nunnery & interact with the nuns.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06 : Uletokpo Camp
This morning visit Alchi, known as Alchi Choskor, It was situated by the River Indus and within part of an apricot orchard.
Three large sized images of clay and painted brightly are its focal attractions. It is no longer an active religious center and is looked after by monks from the Likir monastry.
Overnight at Camp.
Day 07 : Uletokpo Camp
This morning visit Lamayuru via Khalsi (Passport checking point). From here another 22 kms drive will take you to Lamayuru - the oldest and spectacularly set Lamayuru monastery founded in the 10th century.
Lamayuru Monastery - The gompa part of the Kagyupa order, it is the location perched above a drained lake on an eroded crag overlooked by massive mountains, that makes it special. The gompa dates back to 10th century, has renowned collection of carpets, thangkas and frescoes. Try get early to witness a mesmerizing ceremony.
On the way back Nurla to experience the Tibetan medicine and the traditional systems followed in this branch of science. Meet the local Amchi - the Tibetan doctor and attend a presentation on Tibetan medicine.

Day 08 : Uletokpo Camp - Leh
Today morning drive to Leh. En route visit:
Likir Monastery - 200 year old Gompa of Gelukpa order and the Kushok is the younger brother of Dalai Lama.
Continue to Leh & Check in at hotel. Evening visit by foot to :
Leh Palace - World heritage Site - Miniature version of the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Leh Palace was built in the 17th century but is now destroyed and dilapidated. Leh Gompa - The Tsemo ( red ) gompa, built in 1430, contains a fine three storey-high Buddha image and ancient manuscripts and frescoes.

Day 09 : Leh
After breakfast , proceed towards full day sight seeing:
Sankar Gompa - Which has innumerable statues of pure gold and a number of interesting paintings. It is an easy couple of kms walk north of town centre. The upstairs part of this interesting little gompa belonging to the Gelukpa order has an impressive representation of the Buddhist deity of compassion, Avalokiteshwara complete with 1000 arms and 1000 heads. The gompa is open from 7 to 10 am and again from 5 - 7 pm.
Stok Palace - The palace was built by King Tsepal Tondup Namgyal in 1825. The Gompa has some fine masks and frescoes. The museum has a unique display of rare ornaments from the royal family and thangkas, traditional clothing and jewellery.
On the way back visit the SOS Children's village at Choglamsar village which is an important centre for Tibetan Buddhism and the study of Tibetan culture and history.

Day 10 : leh - Nubra Valley (125 kms)
Today morning drive through Gangles villages, the road then rises to reach Khardongla pass ( 5600 Mtrs ) the world's highest motorable road. The road the passes through a bridge laid on Glacier which finds its way in Guinness Book of world records. Check in at Tented Camp. Later this afternoon visit Samastlilng Monastery. Overnight at Camp.
Day 11 : Nubra Valley
Nubra Valley Known as Ldumra (the valley of flowers) is situated in the north of Leh.
Hunder - a pretty village, set among lots of trees and mingling streams. About 7 kms from Diskit, the Gompa at Hunder is about a 2 km walk above the village, including a short, steep, rocky climb.
Return to Camp. Overnight at Camp.
Day 12 : Nubra Valley - Leh
Today you drive back to Leh. Check in at hotel. Evening short walk around Leh Bazaar. Overnight Stay at hotel.
Day 13 : Leh - Delhi
After breakfast , transfer to airport to board flight for Delhi. ( Reporting time at Leh airport is two hours prior to flight departure. )
On arrival in Delhi, transfer to hotel. Check in at hotel.
Day 14 : Delhi
After Breakfast ,we will proceed for full day sight seeing including:
Presidential Palace - Drive along the ceremonial avenues of Rajpath and view the splendid.
Parliament House - The nerve center.
India Gate - First World War memorial designed by Lutyens in 1931.
Humayun's Tomb - Standstone forerunner of the Taj Mahal. 'World Heritage Site.'
Today afternoon you visit the sights of Old Delhi:
Red Fort - with its majestic ramparts.
Jama Masjid - One of Asia's largest Mosques from the hub.
Rajghat - Mahatma Gandhi's final resting place.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 15 : Delhi
Optional : Day excursion to Agra to visit the world famous Taj Mahal. Overnight at hotel.
Day 16 : Depart Delhi
After breakfast day free for leisure and later transfer in time to the airport to connect onwards destination flight.
